To provide personalized athletic coaching, performance analysis, and training insights, we collect the following categories of data:

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, password, and profile preferences.
  • Fitness and Health Data: With your explicit consent, we sync data from third-party fitness ecosystems. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Workout metrics (running distance, cycling cadence, swimming laps, duration, speed).
    • Physiological data (heart rate, heart rate zones, calories burned).
    • Location and Route Data (GPS tracks, routes, and elevation changes during outdoor activities).
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device operating system, and system logs required for server stability and debugging.

2. Third-Party Integrations & Health Kits

Our Service integrates with external fitness platforms to aggregate your training history:

  • Huawei Health Kit: If you grant permission, our Service accesses fitness and health data managed by Huawei Health Kit. This data is exclusively used to generate coaching insights, evaluate training zones, and display historical performance charts within your dashboard. We do not use Huawei Health Kit data for advertising or marketing purposes.
  • Other Integrations: We may also sync with other platforms (such as Strava) based on the connections you actively authorize.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your information to fulfill our contractual obligations to you and for our legitimate business interests, including:

  • Analyzing training metrics to provide optimal athletic guidance.
  • Displaying your training history, cadence, heart rate zones, and routes.
  • Maintaining, securing, and optimizing our backend server infrastructure.
  • Complying with legal obligations.

4. Data Security and Retention

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures (including encrypted databases and secure communication protocols) to protect your sensitive health and personal data against unauthorized access.

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. Health and fitness data synced from third-party kits is stored on our secure servers only to maintain your performance history.

5. Your Rights and Account Deletion

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR compliance), you have the right to access, correct, or restrict the processing of your personal data.

  • Data Erasure (Account Deletion): You have the right to delete your account at any time. You can trigger complete account deletion directly within the application settings interface, or by contacting us at admin@koatch.fit. Upon receiving an account deletion request, all personal information, historical health data, and synced fitness logs will be permanently purged from our active databases and servers within 30 days.
