Welcome to Koatch! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and sports coaching platform services (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use this Service.
  • You agree to provide accurate, complete information when creating an account.
  • You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Use of the Service & Third-Party Services

  • Permitted Use: The Service is designed to provide athletic tracking, coaching coordination, and fitness analysis for personal use.
  • Third-Party Health Data: The Service allows you to connect third-party platforms, including Huawei Health Kit and Strava. Your use of those third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. You grant us the necessary rights to pull and process this data to fulfill the coaching features of our application.
  • Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to misuse the Service, reverse-engineer the platform, overload our server infrastructure, or attempt to bypass any security measures.

3. Disclaimers (Not Medical Advice)

  • Fitness Disclaimer: Koatch is an athletic training and performance tracking tool. We are not a medical organization, and our coaches or automated insights do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Always consult with a qualified physician or healthcare professional before starting any intensive training, running, cycling, or swimming regimen, especially when training based on heart rate zones.
  • You assume all physical and medical risks associated with your training or participation in athletic activities tracked by the Service.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software code, algorithms, logos, and trademarks associated with Koatch are the exclusive property of Koatch or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the platform solely for personal use.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in behavior that harms our systems, or for any other legitimate business reason. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account inside the app.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Koatch and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of use, or bodily injury resulting from your use of the Service or reliance on any training metrics.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
